How does botulinum toxin anti-wrinkle therapy work?
This therapy is minimally invasive and can be performed within minutes by experienced injection specialists to avoid complications and achieve the desired results. Botulinum toxin is most often injected in the forehead, between the eyebrows and around the eyes. Ideally, the injection is performed when expression lines are dynamic. Once they become static, they are more difficult to erase completely, with the residual line being corrected with hyaluronic acid to complement.
How does anti-wrinkle therapy with hyaluronic acid work?
Hyaluronic acid will be injected into the skin using a fine needle. The treatment generally takes between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on the area treated and the amount of hyaluronic acid injected. The hyaluronic acid injected in this way restores volume, fills lines and wrinkles, contours the treated area, keeping facial expression unchanged.

What are the effects of anti-wrinkle therapy?
Combined with other aesthetic treatments such as hyaluronic acid or laser rejuvenation therapies, botulinum toxin anti-wrinkle treatment results in a rejuvenated facial appearance of up to 10 years!
The effect of treatment can last from four to six months, depending on the patient and the degree of damage.
How does botulinum toxin anti-wrinkle therapy work?
The injection produces muscle relaxation, acting at the muscle level by blocking the release of the chemical mediator acetylcholine from nerve endings.
Muscle relaxation is temporary and the return to the initial state is gradual.
The effect starts to appear early, 3-4 days post-injection and is maximal at 1-2 weeks.
The time between injections is specific to each patient. Depending on the individual response, it should not be less than 16 weeks, but on average it is about 6 months.
How does anti-wrinkle therapy with hyaluronic acid work?
By increasing the concentration of hyaluronic acid in the skin, skin volume is restored and fine lines and wrinkles are reduced. Hyaluronic acid is very similar in structure to that which normally exists in the body and is long-lasting without being permanent.
When is botulinum toxin treatment used against wrinkles?
Most often, it addresses excessive expression lines, visible when a person smiles, laughs or is surprised. These wrinkles tend to become significantly more pronounced in dynamics and will be much less noticeable when the face is relaxed.
Are there any adverse effects of the procedure?
In extremely rare cases, moderate local pain, swelling, redness and/or slight bleeding may occur.
Is one treatment session enough?
In the case of wrinkle treatment, one treatment session is enough to relax the face and remove unsightly wrinkles. For long-lasting results, sessions are recommended at regular intervals, on average 5-6 months.
What happens when the effects of botulinum toxin start to wear off?
When the effects begin to fade, the treated wrinkles will begin to be visible again, but in most cases they will not be as deep and visible as before the procedure. After 3-4 treatment sessions the results start to be maintained over a longer period of time.
Is there a recovery period after the procedure?
There is no recovery period and most patients resume their daily activities immediately after the procedure. However, it is recommended to avoid strenuous exercise and massage the area for 1-2 days.
I don't want to look artificial. Are botulinum toxin treatments and fillets right for me?
For sure! Both treatments ensure an improved appearance while maintaining the natural look of the face. Facial expression will be preserved. Surgical procedures involve the removal of excess skin, leaving an unnatural appearance, whereas both fillets and botulinum toxin will create an overall younger-looking face without looking artificial.
